Part 2 of our plan centers around staff training on Environment and Sustainability.
Staunch Greco Industries has implemented a policy on how to work responsibly.
Our first step is ensuring the staff are happy to work in this manner. It is one of the first things that we mention to potential staff when holding first contact with them via telephone: Staunch Greco Industries is an eco-friendly business with eco-friendly processes and procedures that includes staff training on environment and sustainability.
You will find that some painters and decorators can be set in their ways of working and don’t like or don’t want to adapt to new ways of working. However, we find that the mass majority of candidates we speak to are not only intrigued by the way we work, but are happy to participate and learn more.
Once we sign staff members on, we provide them with a Staunch Greco Industries Staff induction guide for them to read. We welcome any questions once they have read this document.
Our second step is to give them staff training on environment and sustainability on their first day of work, which we cover key areas of the plan. We provide plenty of examples along the way for clarification.
Ultimately, training is ongoing. There is always something new to learn and discover. As we grow as a business, we will implement additional work practices which benefit our environment.
