Painting Modern Houses in Melbourne :Summary
The advent of the “Modern House” in Australia began after World War 2 and stretched from 1945 to 1970. Modernity in architectural housing denotes simplicity and open planning. The inclusion of bold geometric shapes and little to no ornamentation.
The design emphasises the innovative use of materials and structure. You receive a great deal of more light exposure with large floors.
Exterior:
You will notice flat roofs and wall to wall and floor to ceiling windows. They will be combined with blank walls and small windows. Walls come in geometric shapes. Walls are often panted white or cream. Timber or steel window panes are often painted white. Colours become vibrant in small areas. Accent features will include red or green.
