ROOF PAINTING PROJECT IN ALPHINGTON: A STAUNCH SUCCESS !
The Staunch Greco Industries team recently completed an exterior project, which included roof painting project in Alphington. We were absolutely stoked to get this job, and even more pleased with the way it came about.
We were contacted by our client, who rightly so, is very concerned about keeping our environment as healthy as possible, and working with eco-friendly products and processes! The client certainly spoke to the right people! These types of enquiries mean a lot to us. After all, Sustainability is a staunch lifestyle! Eco-Friendly Roof top painting is also one of our specialties! The client found us on the Green painters Org website, which we are accredited members.
Through our discussion with the client and inspecting the property to prepare the quote, we discovered that the main housing roof needed to be painted, along with car port roof, the water cooler and the fence. The client had chosen a beautiful combination of colours:
Charcoal Black for the main roof top, for the water cooler.
Bogart sand for the car port roof and for part of the fence.
Monument off black for part of the fence.
Due to the eco-friendly concerns and the heavy emphasis on exterior roof painting we recommended Astec Paints to our client. They have a brilliant range for roof top painting called Energy Star Heat Reflective Metalflex. Energy Star range will reflect fully 50% of solar heat by infrared reflection. Even in dark colours, their low solar absorbance and high emittance will significantly reduce absorbed heat. Long term benefits also include energy consumption and reduced cooling loads. For the fence and water cooler we used Astec’s Weather Plus Range.
Our client was very happy with the progress and outcome of the project, as were we!

We use an eco-friendly wash system. This process involves washing paint brushes and tools in a tub of water with solution that separates the waste from the water. Once the separation process is complete the water can be recycled. For example, putting it into the garden
