It’s a superior decking product that lasts three times longer than traditional decking oils. It is UV and mould resistant that preserves hardwood and softwood timbers. It assists in the quick drying process and is very easy to clean with water and a mop after a sweep/vacuum.
When we are involved in a decking restoration Melbourne project we conduct the work via three main steps.
Step 1: We remove any furniture and objects that are on the decking. We thoroughly clean the deck with a sweep and vacuum process. We get into all the gaps to ensure any tiny stones and any other elements are removed from the gapping. Once the deck is thoroughly clean we do a deep pressure clean with a special cleaning solution. We then leave the deck to dry.
Step 2: The next step is sanding the entire decking back. After the sanding we apply the first coat of the stain that our client has chosen. We leave the first coat to dry overnight.
Step 3: We come back onto site the next day and apply the final coat of staining. After this is done we are finished! Your deck is now restored and looking beautiful and fresh once again! We ask you to not walk on the deck at all for at least 24 hours. We also ask that you wait five days before you replace the deck with any furniture and furnishings that you generally keep on it.
