Painting Camberwell Heritage Splendor: A Staunch Residential Project!
When your team is painting Camberwell properties in Melbourne, you know that you will so often be working with stunning heritage homes bursting with character and history. This is why painting Camberwell houses is always such a welcoming experience for the Staunch Greco team. There is so much individual character, not only in the houses but in the many streets of the suburb. So many of its streets adorned with massive oak trees perfectly aligned forming a beautiful arch way that is so welcoming. What a way to start a work morning!
Initially this particular client called us in to some decking restoration. When we got to talking, we discovered that they were needing both interior and exterior painting down on their marvelous Californian Bungalow. We put together a quote for them and pretty soon after we were painting Camberwell heritage history again and loving it!
Our client selected locally made Haymes Paint, and in particular their very low VOC range, in order to protect both the health of the family and the wellbeing of our environment.
We planned to work on the interior parts of the house first. This involved a great deal of woodwork painting. Our team is meticulous with painting woodwork, we take our time to ensure it is done to the highest standard. The woodwork paint was a match from the colour on the staircase walls. Below our team can be seen working on the woodwork.
We also worked on living areas, bedrooms library, and ceilings. Staunch Project Assistant Julian can be seen below working on painting features of a fireplace.
We also had the staunch mission of transforming an upstairs living area. See images below. It was initially painted in a deep blue. Our mission was to open up the space and bring out a fresh organic and soothing vibe. We presented our client with Pistachio cream, which has a beautiful undercurrent of green to it.
Stage of this painting Camberwell heritage project was to take on the entire exterior aspect of the home. We went through a colour and style consultation with our clients who wanted to change the colour scheme of the exterior. Dave’s Train, a striking dark grey, was chosen for the facias and gutters.
A basic white was used on the exterior walls and pillars. A classic grey was chosen, which is a very light grey with great undertones to it.
Our team spray painted a good aspect of the walls closest to the roof. We hand painted the remainder of the exterior.
Below are some highlights of the final results. We are so proud of it!
