On our previous blog we began exploring grey paint colours, how they can make you feel, and how they can be used. Click here to read part 1 of this exploration. Today we continue with our exploration of grey paint colours by featuring an additional five grey hues that we love!
Revere Pewter:
A highly popular grey paint colour, Revere Pewter has warm undertones that equates to being better defined as greige. It has elements of both grey and beige. It’s a light medium hue in regards to depth. Lighting plays a big part in how this paint will appear. For example, high level exposure to natural light it can look inviting and warmish. Whilst in a room with no natural light, it can look slightly moody.
Elephant Grey:
Elephant Grey is a grey paint colour we are thrilled to recommend any chance we get. It is both a warm and saturated shade of grey. It could be best defined as a merlot grey. It has a distinct richness to it and possesses undertones of brown and violet. Elephant grey goes well with various furnishings and contrasting paint colours.
Chainmail Grey:
This grey paint colour option is gorgeous. A classical deep charcoal, it provides a moody, dramatic and stunning vibe in any room it goes into. It exudes staunch boldness and works well with bright accent features and all types of white. It brings a hint of elegance and sophistication to your space.
Silver Lake Grey:
If you want the ultimate in grey paint colour serenity look no further than Silver Lake Grey. What serenity it provides! A pale grey that glistens with green and blue undertones. Coolish and comforting like the surface of a lake meeting the pebbled shore. It will do the same to any residential or commercial space it enters. It pairs up extremely well with white and blue paint, furnishings and decorative finishes.
Teahouse:
Teahouse is another favourite shade that we put into the grey category but would be further defined as a shade of greige. It has a warmish and striking vibe to it. It can appear moody or dramatic or inviting and rich. Its brilliant as an accent feature and makes a sterling statement in bedrooms, dining rooms and office spaces. It exudes earthiness when used on exterior projects.
