Painting Prahran Luxury Victorian Greville Street Home
When it comes to Prahran, the iconic Greville Street is the place to be. It has maintained its edge and charm for countless decades. The commercial district is filled with interesting hospitality and retail offerings, and as you cross over the staunch train line at Prahran station, you are hit with the residential district of Greville.
Painting Prahran homes is always a treat for the Staunch Greco team. The street is filled with houses of such distinct character and charming old world Melbourne history. Therefore, whenever we get the opportunity for painting Prahran homes we are totally pumped!
Painting Prahran luxury late Victorian century home was our latest project in the area that consisted of both interior and exterior works. The end user, builder, architect and our team were all on the same page of expectation: staunch high-quality work!
As always, we commence with thorough preparation work, including cleaning and filling any gaps and cracks. Below Staunch Greco Project Manager Samuel and Project assistant Darwin inspect the substrates and formulate their plan of action.
Our team was in charge of painting all the bedrooms, corridors, doors, ceilings, and exterior brick work.
Below Samuel prepares a series of doors for painting. Doors were prepped with undercoat and spray painted.

For the bedrooms, ceilings, general rooms and bathrooms the classic and fresh Dulux colour Antique White USA was chosen.
Doors were painted in a combination of Antique White USA and Porters Paint Old Stone Wall, which is an earthy greige colour.
Powder Rooms are back in ! An old-world nostalgic feature room is making a big comeback among refurbished and new build homes. There’s a trend in them being either painted and tiled or completely/partially wallpapered. This powder room was painted in Antique White USA.
The striking corridor was painted in Dulux Buff It 1/4 Strength, which is soft and warm with a distinct beige undertone.
The dining area was painted in the Dulux Colour Potter Pink 1/2 Strength. This gives the dining room a cozy and nostalgic vibe. Ideal for a dining space due to its strong terracotta undertones.
Below you see the exterior brick works complete. We are a big fan of the colour chosen for this aspect of the project. It is the colour of wood smoke, a light silver grey with an ivory undertone. Porters Paint Wood Smoke
