Quite often, a final decision on what paint colour/s or which wallpaper style to use does not come quickly or easily. That’s the way inspiration often works. It takes time, with a number of factors to consider. Such was the case with one of our most recent clients who had found us via a google search.
Our new client was looking for a wallpaper for the wall space next to their staircase and an extended smaller wall section. They had a few options from a particular supplier but couldn’t find anything satisfactory. We noted a few key factors upon meeting our clients for the first time. They were definitely interested in a wallpaper featuring birds, preferably Australian native birds. Also, we felt that the space in question needed a certain wallpaper tone of colour in order for it to contrast well with the space and to compliment the space itself.

We started off at the far end of the staircase wall, nothing that this is quite a complex installation since the wall is on an angle and there are a number of light fixtures to deal with. We applied glue to the walls, hung the Milton and King Gumnut Paradise wallpaper section by section. Carefully smoothing it out and cutting the paper where it needed to be cut.
